Jurong Kitchen is a private menu and meal planner for family and friends. This page explains what information the site uses when you sign in, and what happens to it.
What we collect
- Your Google account name, email address and profile picture, when you sign in with Google. We never see or receive your Google password.
- The dishes you pick and your meal plans, including the dates you add them.
- Sign-in records (your email address, time of sign-in and IP address), kept by Cloudflare, which checks that you are on the list of people allowed to use the site.
We do not ask for, and Google does not share, your contacts, files, calendar or anything else in your Google account.
How we use it
- To let only invited people into the site.
- To save your picks and meal plans so they appear on any device you sign in on.
- So the kitchen owner can see who would like which dishes and when, to plan cooking.
We do not sell your information, show ads, or use it for anything else.
Who can see it
- You can see your own picks and meal plans.
- The site owner can see every signed-in person's name, email, picks and meal plans.
- Other signed-in people cannot see your information.
Where it is stored
- Google Firebase stores your account details, picks and meal plans.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores sign-in records.
- Your browser keeps a copy of your picks, meal plan and language choice on your device.
These companies handle the data on our behalf under their own privacy terms (Google, Cloudflare).
Keeping and deleting your information
Your information is kept while you use the site. Ask us and we will delete your account details, picks and meal plans. You can clear the copy on your device by clearing this site's data in your browser, and you can remove the site's access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com/connections.
